Enable Developer Options
First, we need to unlock the system's hidden settings menu.
- Open Settings (Gear icon) from your home screen.
- Navigate to System > About.
- Find Android TV OS build at the very bottom.
- Click the OK button on your remote 7 times quickly.
- "You are now a developer!" will appear on screen.

Install "Downloader"
This app allows you to download and install files directly on the stick.
- Go to the Apps tab on your main menu.
- Search for the app named "Downloader".
- Select the Orange Icon (AFTVnews) and click Install.
- Open it and click Allow for media permissions.

Allow Unknown Sources
By default, the device blocks non-store apps for safety.
- Go back to Settings > Apps.
- Select Security & Restrictions.
- Go to Unknown Sources.
- Toggle the switch ON for the Downloader app.

Download & Install
You are now ready to install your favorite apps!
- Open Downloader.
- Type in the Direct URL for your APK file.
- Click Install when prompted.
- Click Done then Delete the file to save space.
App not showing up?
Sometimes sideloaded apps don't appear in the "Your Apps" list. To find them, go to Settings > Apps > See all apps and scroll to the bottom. They are always listed there!
