1. Recommended Initial Settings
Initial Account Setup (If not already set up)
If your account has not already been added:
- Open Settings and click on Add Playlist.
- Choose the playlist name provided to you.
- Click on Username and enter the username provided.
- Click on Password and enter the password provided.
Note: If your account was set up for you, these initial login steps and settings below may already be configured. If not, these are the setting changes we recommend:
Recommended Settings Updates
- Update Your Playlist Settings:
- Go to Settings → Playlist.
- Open your playlist and scroll down.
- Turn ON “Update on app start”.
- Sort Your TV Groups:
- Go back up and open Manage Groups.
- Select TV → Group Sorting → By Name.
- Use your remote’s Back button to return to the main Settings menu.
- Update Your EPG Settings:
- Open EPG.
- Turn ON “Update on app start” and “Update on playlist name”.
- Use the Back button to exit Settings.
- Adjust Appearance (Recommended):
- Go to Appearance → Colour Theme.
- Set Background Colour to Brown and Accent Theme to Orange.
- Change Audio Decoder to Software (Eliminates “no sound” issues on certain channels):
- Go to Playback.
- Click on Audio decoder and select Software.
- Sort Movies by Date Added:
- Go back to the main app screen and navigate to Movies.
- Click on All Movies (click to the right to hide the menu).
- Click the 3 lines (Menu icon) at the top right of your screen and select Sort by Date Added.
- Sort TV Shows by Last Date Modified:
- Navigate to Shows.
- Click on All Shows and open the top-right menu (3 lines).
- Select Sort by Last Date Modified.
2. Customizing Categories & Channels
Hide Categories You’re Not Using
- Go to Settings → Playlist and click your playlist name.
- Choose Manage groups → TV.
- Toggle off any categories you don’t use.
Manually Sort Channels
- Go to Settings → Playlists → Click your playlist name.
- Select Manage groups → TV.
- Set Group sorting to Manual.
- Click Reorder groups, then click OK (to deselect the first channel).
- Scroll to the channel you want to move, click it, and drag/move it to your desired position.
3. Remote Control Functions
1. While Watching Live TV (Full Screen)
| Button / Action | Function |

| Select / OK (Single Press) | Opens the lower info panel, recent channels bar (last 10 channels), and player controls (pause, record, search, etc.). |
| Select / OK (Long Press) | Opens the bottom quick options menu (Subtitles/CC, Audio tracks, Display mode, Aspect ratio, Sleep timer). |
| Up Arrow | Changes channel Up (+1 channel). |
| Down Arrow | Changes channel Down (-1 channel) or brings up quick channel list. |
| Left Arrow | Opens the Side Channel Guide on top of the current playing channel. |
| Right Arrow | Toggles back to the Previous Channel you were just watching. |
| Back Button | Opens the TV Guide (EPG) overlay. |
| Menu Button (3 Lines) | Opens the quick-settings menu overlay. |
2. While in the TV Guide (EPG)
| Button / Action | Function |

| Select / OK (Single Press) | Tunes directly to the highlighted channel. |
| Select / OK (Long Press) | Opens the channel options menu (Add to Favorites, Custom Recording, Block Channel, etc.). |
| Up / Down Arrows | Scroll line-by-line through channels (holding scrolls fast). |
| Left Arrow | Moves left in time (for Catch-Up content) or moves over to the Groups / Categories list. |
| Right Arrow | Moves right into future scheduled programs. |
| Rewind (<<) / Fast-Forward (>>) | Page Up / Page Down through the guide listing quickly. |
| Back Button | Returns to full-screen view (or goes back one level if navigating groups). |
| Menu Button (3 Lines) | Opens the TV Guide menu (Manage Groups, Search, EPG Update, Settings). |
4. Recording & Buffer Settings
- Adjust Buffer Settings: Configure your buffer preferences under settings to ensure smooth playback during peak hours.
- Recording Live Shows:
- Long-press the live show you want to record.
- Choose Custom recording to program it.
- Reminder: Your streaming device has limited local storage. Remember to delete recordings after watching them!
5. App Maintenance: Clearing Cache & Router Care
Clearing App Cache
If the app starts lagging or freezing, clear the cache following these device-specific steps:
Android Devices
- Press the Home button on your remote.
- Go to Settings → Apps.
- Select the app you want to clear.
- Click Clear Cache, select OK, and confirm.
- Important: DO NOT click “Clear Data” or your app login settings will be erased!
- Go back up, click Force Stop, and confirm. Use your Back button to exit settings.
Amazon Firestick Devices
- Press the Home button on your remote.
- Go to Settings → Applications → Manage Installed Applications.
- Select the app you want to clear.
- Click Clear Cache, select OK, and confirm.
- Important: DO NOT click “Clear Data”.
- Go back up, click Force Stop, and confirm. Use your Back button to exit settings.
Don’t Forget Your Router!
Your modem/router needs a little help as well. Rebooting your router regularly clears out stale connections, resets memory buffers, and prevents buffering issues for smooth streaming.
